President’s Welcome

Greetings and thank you for visiting the website of Rho Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated
Located in the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region, Rho Eta Omega Chapter was chartered on May 21, 1988 in Richmond, Virginia. For over 30 years, we have been a beacon of light in the Richmond City community for providing community outreach services through our sorority’s
international targets and our chapter programs.

We are a diverse group of women who are committed to the mission of our beloved sorority which is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life and to be of service to all mankind.

We are delighted that you have taken an opportunity to visit our website and learn about our chapter and service programs.  Please return often for updates regarding public events and activities as well as announcements related to our service programs.

Thank you for your support as we continue to make an impact in the Richmond, Virginia area.

Tamara R. Johnson, President
