For over 110 years, the oldest Greek-letter organization for African-American women, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, has been in the forefront of providing “Service to all Mankind” dedicated to implementing programs that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national, and international communities.  Since the chartering of Rho Eta Omega Chapter on May 21, 1988, we have worked hard to serve countless individuals and families throughout the Richmond City community through our programs and services.  Our diverse membership consists of a dynamic group of collected educated women who characterize education, medical, business, political and other fields, all committed to the mission of our sisterhood.  Rho Eta Omega is also honored to provide graduate advisors and mentors to the undergraduate members of Tau Delta Chapter at Randolph Macon College. Rho Eta Omega will continue to fulfill its purpose to meet the needs of local and global communities by implementing the sorority’s 2018-2022 International Program “Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service” led by our 30th International President Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover.  Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Rho Eta Omega Chapter will address community needs in five target areas: Target I: HBCU for Life: A Call to Action Target II: Women’s Healthcare and Wellness Target III: Building Your Economic Legacy Target IV: The Arts!
